Straw-kin are short, humanoid constructs who generally aren't taller than a human's knee. Made of reeds, tree branches, and any other piece of vegetation they joyfully aid and direct travelers lost on the roads of the Blessed Isles.

Every 3 months the Straw-kin hold a small festival in which they create new bodies for themselves. There physical form is basically a container that holds all of their experiences and essence. If a straw-kin's experiences should exceed the limit of their container, on the day of the festival they can split their essence into multiple new bodies. Save for the interference of a deity or other powerful being, this is the only way their small society can increase their numbers.
