======The Realm of Pyrokus======
Pyrokus, the Great Machine, the Plane of Fire, the Burning Chaos, the Plane of Order. All these are but names for the same place.
Pyrokus was created by [[Mondo]] in the infancy of creation, and the god makes this plane his home. It is a twisting nether of Chaos and Law as One. Mondo believes that the two are merely aspects of the greater Order of the universe, and Pyrokus reflects that belief. It is a plane of flame and metal and flesh, things which haunt one's darkest nightmares and which soar through one's fondest dreams are to be found here.
Pyrokus itself is a single machine of titanic proportions, and the machine itself provides the only surface on which to stand. Great cogs, miles across and slowly turning, fill the open spaces, springs and gears and widgets and whatsits are all interconnected to the machine by fibrous organic material, muscles and tendons and arteries and bile filled tubules. Pyrokus is as much flesh as machine, yet both are unified for a single, great purpose...
====Planar Traits====
Pyrokus has all of the following planar traits.
- **Objective Directional Gravity** - Great globs of steel and flesh make up the "ground" in Pyrokus, and gravity pulls creatures towards their centers. Should one step off the edge of a formation, he will simply be pulled toward another face of the object.""<div style="float: right; text-align: left; background: #EEE; margin-left: 25px; margin-right: 25px; border: 1px solid #CCC;">

- **Erratic Time** - Time in Pyrokus is not linked to the mortal realms at all. One thousand years is as a day and a day as a thousand years. When spending time in Pyrokus, roll a d% twice. Compare the values of the two dice in relation to the chart, the first die representing how much time has passed in the material world and the second for how that relates to the time in Pyrokus. This will show you how much time has passed in the material world in relation to how much time has passed in Pyrokus. For example, you roll a 52 and a 13. The 52 gives you 1 day in the material world, while the 13 gives you 10 minutes in Pyrokus. So, for every 10 minutes spent in Pyrokus, an entire day has passed in the material world. 60 minutes of time would mean you had lost 6 days.
If you rolled a 04 and a 91, then for every 10 years you spent in Pyrokus, only 6 seconds (1 round) would have passed in the material realm.
- **Finite and Self-Contained** - Pyrokus takes the shape of a sphere, though the exact size tends to shift and dance as flames over time. The outer "walls" are purest Fire, beyond which there is nothing. These walls grant equal light from all directions which penetrates deeply so that there is virtually no shadow or darkness. Visitors to the plane travel within this sphere and are destroyed if the try to pass through the outer walls.
- **Divinely Morphic** - Mondo has complete control over Pyrokus, and it is prone to great changes when he uncovers a new truth and better understands the universe. Other gods may one day wrest control of the plane from him, but he will not allow them to do so without a fight.
- **Fire-Dominant** - The outer walls themselves are composed of eternal flame, and the occasional firestorm wreaks havoc on the denizens who lack adequate protection, but the climate within is generally livable without much protection if not exactly hospitable.
- **Mildly Evil-Aligned** - Though Mondo does not view himself as evil, in the limited understanding of mortals, he and his plane have that quality.
- **Strongly Law-and-Chaos-Aligned** - Pyrokus is strongly aligned to both Law and Chaos, causing all creatures to receive the penalty for their alignment, unless they manage to be simultaneously Lawful and Chaotic (Neutral doesn't count.)
- **Normal Magic / Enhanced Fire Magic** - Magic functions as normal; however magic with the Fire descriptor is automatically Maximized and Enlarged at no cost to the caster, even if he does not possess the metamagic feats.
