Nigali
Nigali are a magical beast, created by the god Akhat. The Nigali are fearsome creatures, their back coming up past a man's waist, some of the larger growing as tall as the shoulder. Covered in a sort of filmy skin that looks vaguely reptilian, it shimmers with change, helping the Nigali to blend in with the surrounding area. Just looking at a Nigali, most eyes try and slide off it, to not look directly at it. Their four feet seem almost canine, somewhere between paws and webbed feet -- either way, they are silent, and they have four claws that do quite well for pinning or ripping. Mouths that spread wide to engulf their meal, with teeth for tearing. But none of these things are what make the Nigali so exceedingly dangerous.
It has been said that time is a river that we all float in. And float is all most can do -- they have no control about the speed of the river, or where it takes them. The Nigali have come to terms with the river. Where others float, they swim upstream, following the speedy currents. They move quickly, strike quickly, and disappear. Creatures that strike against it find themselves pushed to the eddies, where time moves like mud as others speed by. Few are those who see the Nigali and live, but to catch and kill one is more rare than a five gourd qalau plant.
Nigali are solitary carnivores. They prefer to feast on the flesh of intelligent beings; the possessions of the dead they often drag back to their dens, forming their own treasure trove of junk and jewels.

Shimmering Skin: The skin of the Nigali shifts and shimmers. After it has been in a given environment (in the same general area) for 5 rounds, its skin will shift to allow it to blend in, granting it a +6 bonus to Hide checks. If a Nigali is struck in melee combat, the striker must make a DC XX save. Failing places them under the influence of a slow spell.
Haste: The peculiar nature of these creatures allows them to move more swiftly than others in the timestream. They gain the effect of the Haste spell as an extraordinary ability -- it cannot be dispelled off them without killing them. This means that the nigali are immune to slow effects. It also grants them a +4 initiative bonus.
Pounce: If a nigali charges, it can make a full attack, including two rake attacks.
Rake: Attack bonus +16 melee, damage 1d8+3.
