Army of Heavenly Beings
Overview
The Army is an organization of certain beings that were created by Akhat within the plane of Aarken. They were created from light, to help the world, and those who pursued what was good and perfect. Since their creation, they have developed a mind of their own, with regards to their duties and how such should be executed. The principal two sets of beings within the Army are the guardinals and the angels. The Army is organized, as the name might suggest, in a strongly military structure, with commanders, those in charge of supplies, those in charge of the trumpets, etc.
Heroes
Domiel is the military leader of the Army, a great angel who stands over three men tall, and carries a vast two-handed sword that springs alight with flame in combat. From his back come giant white wings, allowing him to soar over the battlefield to survey it, and to choose his points of attack quite carefully.
Barachiel, the messenger. Garmented in silvery armor, he bears a trumpet able to shake the world. It is to Barachiel that is given the task of bringing the word of the Army, and Akhat to the world. When Akhat brought about the first of the tests that fried the world, it was Barachiel who announced the message in the skies. He wields a sword that whispers in tongues, and flickers with bits of lightning. On his brow is a seven pointed circlet.
Erathaol is the chief seer of the world, and a bearer of wisdom to Domiel. It was because of Erathaol that the art of prophesy reached the world, it was because of his work that the veil of time has been pulled aside time and again. It was he who helped the Army to discover a way to step backwards through time itself.
Raziel brings fire and death to the world. An angel that comes often in read with a flaming sword or brand in hand, his temper is as hot as the fire he bears. He is devoted to cleansing the world of evil as best he can. His brow is set with an ornate cirlet, fronted by three red gems.
Talisid is a guardinal, a lion of combat. He is held as the highest rank guardinal, and has authority over the others. When Domiel is needful of a good creature to do the job, he turns to Talisid.
An officer of Talisid, Rhanok is a horned guardinal, appointed to stand as a watcher over the site of the outworldly invasion area, above what was formerly Sa'mundo.
Vhara is another of Talisid's chosen, an equine figure who delights in wide plains and fresh growth, in greens and the vibrant colors that come from growing things. Her lover of beauty should not be taken for a lack of fighting spirit though, for she is fierce in defense of that which she loves.
Kharash is a black creature, a guardinal of which little is known. Preferring to stay out of sight, he is said to be cautious but dangerous, and extremely cunning.
