Desert Wind

A Desert Wind is a arcane spellcaster who draws on the power of the sandstorm and the sands. The magic itself is based on magic stolen from the magocracy of Vendigroth. While the Council Mage of Vendigroth hungers and holds onto power, drawing on the solid parts of stone, the Wind is a more fluid spellcaster.
Entry Requirements
Skills: Knowledge(Desert) or Knowledge(Local) 6 ranks and being from the desertSpells: Able to cast 1st-level arcane spells, and know at least three spells with the Acid descriptor or on the Desert or Earth spell lists.

Spells per day/Spells Known: When a new wind level is gained, the character gains new spells per day (and spells known, if applicable) as if he had also gained a level in a spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of wind to the level of some other spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day, spells known, and caster level accordingly.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Desert gain no weapon or armor proficiencies.
