Additions:
- Sandswim (Ex)
- Radiance (Su)
**Sandswim (Ex)**: The sands are a vast ocean for the Asherati to move through and swim in. They can move through the sands at their normal speed when unencumbered. With their unique physiology, they can see and breathe there -- or in any form of sand or dust or ash. They can travel through the sands while carrying things -- there are packs and bags designed to be streamlined against their bodies that are sold in the Asherati markets. Larger objects make for harder and more tiring going of it. If there is some distance to cover with something of size, it will usually be transported over the surface rather than beneath.
**Radiance (Su**: Asherati possess the ability to produce light from their own flesh. This light can pierce through, for instance, sand, allowing them to have light to see while swimming, or in nighttime above. They control to a degree how much light they wish to let off, allowing them to make their circle wider or smaller. The light is usually somewhere between orange and red in coloration. If they so desire, they can release this radiance in a sudden brilliant burst. A creature that succeeds on a DC 15 + 1/2 character level + higher of Con or Cha modifier reflex save is only dazzled, rather than blinded.
Deletions:
- Sandswim
- Radiance

Deletions:
The largest of the cities of the Asherati is known as Kolmansk, the central point for all of the great Schools, as well as the home of most of the head Families.
Life among the Asherati is based on two factors -- position and family. Position is gained through education, family through birth and extraordinary acts. The "rulers" of the Asherati are the head Families, the foremost of these being the sons of the Pleader, the first Asherati created. Other significant families include those of Heut the Undying and General Tal'vin. The others of the head Families were founded when an ancestor distinguished him or herself, either by academic merit, skill in administration, or on very rare occasions, being in the right place at the right time.
There are currently three Great Schools, in addition to numerous lesser schools. The lesser schools are the general education areas of the Asherati. Every Asherati attends a lesser school for some time, learning basics of history, math, and the like. Students are also introduced to the concepts behind each of the Great Schools, that they might find their own calling in society. Not every Asherati attends a Great School, but many are.
The three Great Schools are as follows: the School of Education, the School of Artistic Endeavours, and the School of Tactics.

Additions:
Asherati appear as strange-colored and peculiarly thin humanoids initially. Their face is oval-shaped, and they are completely devoid of hair. Their skin is a dark sand color, almost to red. The eyes of an Asherati are hidden beneath a heavy brow and are unique, in that, with the aid of their own light, they can "see" through sand.

Asherati were created by Akhat in response to a plea of one of his human flock. The one who did the begging was transformed into an Asherati, and sent to beneath the sands with others like him. There, they learned to burrow out homes for themselves. The Asherati have begun to establish great cities in the sand, reinforced and stable, even with the traveling sands all around.
Asherati can naturally breath beneath sand, as well as in the storms that ravage the surface. Their bodies require far less water than a human would, and they can tolerate greater temperature extremes and for longer periods of time.
